Heritage Iron Loves its community!
Founded in 2004, the Heritage Iron Club is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving, restoring, and celebrating all things on wheels—from show-ready classics to barn finds in progress. We host events, share knowledge, and support our local community through parades, fundraisers, and fellowship.
Scholarship
Beginning Fall 2026, the Heritage Iron Club will offer a scholarship opportunity to students at Ashe County High School. This scholarship will provide financial assistance of up to $2,000 to qualified individuals who plan to pursue post-secondary education in an automotive-related program. Funds may be used to support tuition or required program supplies at an accredited automotive school or technical training program.
Heritage Iron Club believes in investing in students so they can develop valuable trade skills and pursue meaningful careers. Whether recipients remain in Ashe County or continue their journey elsewhere, the club is proud to support young people as they build skills that will benefit both their futures and their communities.
Interested students may download the application and return the completed form to the guidance office at Ashe County High School by the required deadline.
Applications will be accepted for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 award periods.
cruise-ins
Join us every second Sunday (May–October) for our Downtown West Jefferson Cruise-Ins.
After our first cruse on Sunday, April 19th at 1:00 p.m., we will then be going back to every 3rd Saturday of the month at 5:00 p.m. beginning May 16th.
So, come downtown to West Jefferson with your Heritage Iron, and let us all appreciate each other's pride and joy!

Heritage Iron Annual Car Show
Heritage Iron's 23rd Annual Car Show will be July 12th at Ashe County High School Parking Lot, 184 Campus Drive, West Jefferson, NC 28694--Rain or Shine!

Gates open at 8:00 a.m.

Registration ends at 12:00 noon and is $20

Awards will be given out at 1:00 p.m.

There will be hot dogs & drinks available!

$50/50 Drawing will be availabe as well!

If you'd like to be a sponsor, please contact us for a donation amount. We will post your Name/Business name up on our website and have recognition for you the day of the car show.

This will be a family fun event so ABSOLUTELY NO Alcohol, Tobacco, or Firearms permitted on the premises!
